Mike Matthis

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael Matthis has deep roots in the local community. He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2014, followed by his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV in 2017. While in law school, Michael worked as a law clerk with Michael B. Lee, P.C., where he gained valuable hands – on experience in a wide range of legal matters. Following his graduation, he joined the firm as an associate attorney, continuing his commitment to providing clients with diligent and thoughtful legal representation. In addition to his work at Michael B. Lee, P.C., he also splits his time with an immigration law firm, broadening his scope of legal expertise and service.
Outside of his professional life, Michael is married and the proud father of two young children. He enjoys staying active and regularly participates in recreational city sports leagues. Deeply committed to giving back, Michael also serves as a board member with the nonprofit High Rollers Adaptive Sports Foundation, which provides essential resources to help individuals navigate the complexities following a life – altering injury through peer mentorship and the transformative power of adaptive sports within the Las Vegas community.
